About

Unity Acupuncture was founded by Stephanie Tai and MJ Jung, graduates of Tzu Chi International College of Chinese Medicine and registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC. The clinic was established to serve the community by providing affordable holistic care for pain management and other health conditions through Traditional Chinese Medicine services including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, tuina, cupping, gua sha, and ear seeds.


Stephanie Tai, R.TCM.P

Stephanie Tai is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who takes a holistic approach to health and healing. She uses acupuncture and other therapies to help relieve pain, improve balance, and support overall well-being. Stephanie is committed to providing attentive, individualized treatment in a calm and supportive environment. She values clear communication and works collaboratively with each patient to develop practical, sustainable steps toward improved well-being. Services are available in English and Cantonese.

MJ Jung, R.TCM.P

MJ is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who helps patients feel their best by restoring balance, vitality, and well-being through careful, personalized care. She combines meticulous care with warmth and compassion, ensuring each patient feels supported and understood. MJ provides acupuncture and other TCM modalities to help with a wide range of conditions, including pain, digestive issues, chronic health concerns, and gynecological issues. Patients appreciate her careful assessments and thoughtful treatment plans, which help them feel confident and empowered throughout their healing journey. Services are available in English and Korean.

Initial assessment and treatment (60 min)$90
Follow-up acupuncture (50 min)$80
Follow-up acupuncture + cupping (60 min)$90
Cupping therapy (30 min)$60

Payment Information

We accept cash and debit as forms of payment.Please note that we do not offer direct billing to insurance providers at this time. However, we are happy to provide a detailed invoice or receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your plan’s coverage.


Cancellation and Late Arrival Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee for the full amount. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment will be considered as having missed their appointment.
